Sad news I am tracking on Channels Television indicates that the Emir of Kano's Convoy was attacked today with 2 persons feared dead...

Emir of Kano Attacked By Gunmen

The incident took place this afternoon in Kano.

The attackers opened fire from a motorcycle, the Emir escaped unhurt but his driver was not so lucky as he was killed by the hail of gunfire.

So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
