To be honest, I didn't know presidential and parliamentary elections are holding in Ghana in four days time i.e. Friday, December 7, 2012.
Now that I know, let me share some of the information I have found. Apart from the incumbent, John Mahama, the other competing candidates include Hassan Ayariga, Papa Kwesi Nduom, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Michael Abu Sakara Foster, Akwasi Addai Odike, Jacob Osei Yeboah, Henry Herbert Lartey. You can view their profiles here.
"Charlie", I also went to the Electoral Commission of Ghana website and found these steps on how to vote on election day:
Steps on how to Vote:
Step 1: On election day, go to the Polling Station with your Voter ID card and join the queue if any. Please don’t jump the queue
Step 2: A polling assistant will check your particulars in the name reference list
Step 3: A verification officer will verify your identity as a registered voter with the verification machine.
Step 4: You will be issued with a Presidential Ballot paper. Please check to see if it has no marks on it. Also ensure it has the validating stamp.
Step 5: Make your way to the Voting Booth and thumbprint (correctly) your choice of President.
Step 6: Cast your vote in the Presidential Ballot Box. Please make sure it’s the right box
Step 7: Proceed to the next Polling Assistant for a Parliamentary Ballot Paper
Step 8: Proceed to the Parliamentary Voting Booth and thumbprint (correctly) your choice of MP.
Step 9: Cast your ballot in the Parliamentary Voting Box. Again make sure, it’s in the right box or it will be rejected.
Step 10: Please leave the Polling Station after voting. You can return at 5pm for the count.

ReplyDeleteIn the hospitality industry, being easy to find online can have a direct impact on bookings, reservations, and customer inquiries. Hospitality SEO focuses on improving the online visibility of hotels, resorts, restaurants, vacation rentals, and other guest-focused businesses so they can reach people actively searching for relevant services and experiences. A strong strategy may include optimizing service and location pages, improving website structure, targeting relevant search terms, strengthening local search signals, creating useful travel and hospitality content, and maintaining accurate business information across online platforms. Since travelers often compare several options before making a decision, a well-optimized website can provide valuable information about accommodations, amenities, pricing, dining options, nearby attractions, and unique experiences. Mobile usability and fast page performance are also important because many hospitality searches take place on smartphones while people are planning trips or looking for nearby options.
