Stanbic IBTC Bank Begins Saturday Services

Cool!

Stanbic IBTC Bank has announced the commencement of Saturday banking in key cities across the country.
The new service window, which will further expand financial inclusion in the country, is available at major shopping malls and markets where the bank has branches across the federation.

A statement from the bank yesterday quoted the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Yinka Sanni, as saying that as Nigeria’s huge unbanked population steadily migrates to the formal banking system, the bank is well positioned to help everyone actualize their aspirations via the availability of branches and service points.

According to him, as Nigerian financial services industry is rapidly evolving, it is imperative that the changing needs and goals of both existing and potential customers are constantly monitored to enable the provision of appropriate products and solutions.

“At Stanbic IBTC Bank, we are resolute about taking advantage of the growth opportunities in Nigeria. There can be no better substitute for proper on-the-ground presence in the country.

“Standard Bank Group, to which we belong, has been investing steadily in its African footprint for over two decades. Nigeria remains a key market for the group given our confidence in its massive growth potential,” Sanni said.

He explained that the bank will continue to avail Nigerians ease of access to its products and services. Sanni said, “By making these products and services available on a non-traditional workday, we believe that many more people and businesses will derive significant benefits from this window.”
