The plane transporting the body of former Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Agagu crashed this morning a few moments after take-off at the Murtala International Airport on its way to Akure where his final burial rites were to be held.
The Punch reports that the plane, an EMBRA plane 120, owned by Associated Airlines had 20 passengers on board including relatives of the former governor.
ThisDay reports that the former governor's son, Feyi survived the crash whilst the body of his late father has also been recovered from the fuselage of the crashed plane.
