Rafael Nadal Slips in ATP Rankings After 8th French Open Title

A little bit strange this is...

 

A day after winning an historic 8th French Open title by defeating fellow Spaniard, David Ferrer in the final, Rafael Nadal has dropped from being ranked 4th to 5th in the world. How this has happened, I am not entirely sure of. Ironically, Ferrer moves to 4th position in the rankings with Novak Djokovic in No.1 position.
