Mark Zuckerberg Plans Big for Messenger

Facebook Messenger now has over 800 million monthly users and Mark Zuckerberg is obviously very excited about it, he posted about this milestone on his Facebook wall explaining how Messenger helps him with work and family life.

Perhaps realizing that Messenger and WhatsApp which his company also owns after acquiring it a few years back are essentially competing in the sane space, Zuckerberg has promised new features on Messenger that will make it a more robust platform for people to do several things (I suspect buying and selling would be part of it).

Already, you can register and use Messenger without being on Factbook and with the recent advances in virtual reality and Oculus in the mix. I won't be surprised if Messenger gets more robust in a virtual set-up.

You can see the screenshot of Zuckerberg's plans as expressed by him below.
